Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Michigan Myths and Cryptids

Dive deep into an investigation of Michigan’s very own cryptids. Discuss the Dogman, Bigfoot, Nain Rouge, Not-Deer and more! Join us on an evening hike to look for the real animals that are often mistaken for these cryptids. This program is suitable for ages 8+. Cost is $5/person. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-625-6473 during nature center hours or register online.
