Senior Chore Program

Funded with grants from Oakland County and administered by Oakland Livingston Human Services Agencies, some communities have created programs to offer chore programs for low-income older adults, helping them maintain independence and stay in their homes.

The Michigan Department of Human Services has volunteer opportunities for individuals to learn new skills, become involved in the community and help others.
