Beaches
Oakland County Parks maintains two beaches for water fun in the summer:
Groveland Oaks County Park
Groveland Oaks County Park is home to a sandy beach along Stewart Lake. Pedalboats, kayaks and paddleboards are available for rent. The beach does not have lifeguards on duty.
Independence Oaks County Park
Independence Oaks County Park maintains a large beach area with a sandy area perfect for building sandcastles or relaxing along the shoreline. Picnic areas and pavilions are nearby. The beach does not have lifeguards on duty.
