Scout Field Trips

Appointment-based scout badge field trips are available at Red Oaks Nature Center in Madison Heights and Wint Nature Center in Clarkston. Field trips last 60-90 minutes and are tailored to the badgework needs of your pack or troop. A naturalist will help scouts meet a few requirements toward a badge.

Pricing

• $3/person with minimum of $30
• An additional $1-$2 material fee may apply to some badges          
• After hours/evening sessions: Additional $75

Scout Badges

Join us for a two-hour interactive session during which all badge requirements will be completed. Materials are provided; badges are not supplied by the nature center. Programs take place rain or shine. Dress for the weather as portions of the program may be outdoors. One adult is required for every five scouts.

• $10/scout with a minimum fee of $50

Merit Badge Workshops

The nature centers offer select Merit Badge Workshops that help complete Merit Badge requirements.  Contact the nature center for more information.
