Real property tax bills are issued by the city or township treasurer twice each year in July and December. Current local tax information is available by contacting your local treasurer’s office.

When property taxes are not paid to the city or township treasurer by February 28, the delinquent taxes are transferred to the County Treasurer for collection as governed by the Michigan Compiled Law, MCL 211.78.
