Order Probate documents on:  Court Explorer

MiFILE - The Probate Court is now an eFile Court.

As of June 12, 2025, all filers submitting documents with the probate court will be required to e-file pursuant to Michigan Court Rule 1.109(G)(3)(f).  With few exceptions, the probate court will no longer be accepting documents for filings in person, via fax, or by mail.

Exceptions:

Emergency Mental Health Transport Petitions, Petitions and Orders for Assignment, the Deposit of Original Wills, and the Payment of the Inventory Gross Estate Fee may be made in-person and/or mail.

All other filings must be made using the Probate Court's eFile system - MiFILE.  To get started, visit the MiFILE website and click "Sign Up" in the upper right corner.  Creating an account is free.
