Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Meet and Greet with Deputy Gordon Morse and Worf

Join us at the Red Oaks Nature Center from 1 to 2 p.m. on August 30 for a special opportunity to meet Deputy Gordon Morse and his K-9 partner.

Learn about Deputy Morse's role with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office and how K-9 units help to fight crime and keep our communities safe. Deputy Morse will read from his storybook, "The Adventures of Officer McCrea and K-9 Worf – The Journey Begins," take questions, and give a preview of the second book in the series.
