Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Native Plant Event

During this Native Plant Event hosted by Oakland County Parks, participants can pick up a 16-plant kit based on their garden conditions:

  • Average Garden
  • Moist and Sunny Garden
  • Partial Shade Garden
  • Sunny and Sandy Garden

There will also be extended time to visit natural resource organizations on site. There will be one kit available per household. Interested persons must register in advance using the link in the green box on the Native Plant Event webpage.
