Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Wellness in the Parks with Nature’s Playhouse: Fit & Play

Red Oaks Nature Center has partnered with Nature’s Playhouse of Ferndale to offer Wellness in the Parks programs, focused on children and their parents/caregivers. This one is Fit & Play, for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old. This is a total fitness program that moms can do while their babies or little ones play. It includes intervals of strength and body toning exercises. Cost is $20/per family (one parent/caregiver and one child) + $5/additional child. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 or register online.
