Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Beaver Moon Star Party

Join us for an evening of learning about the moon and stars. Explore the current and soon to come constellations in StarLab, our inflatable planetarium. Then, head out to look for the “Beaver Moon” and discuss its lore. Cost is $5/person. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-625-6473 during nature center hours or register online.
