Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

NatureFit: Stand-Up Paddleboarding on Crooked Lake

Venture out onto Crooked Lake on a provided paddleboard or bring your own. Enjoy a summer morning with like-minded SUP-ers to experience the lake from a new perspective. This is not an instructional class, so all participants should have at least basic experience on a paddleboard. Life jackets will be provided and required for all participants regardless of experience level. Bring sunscreen and some friends for a beautiful day on the water. Meet at the Boathouse. This program is suitable for ages 6 and older. Cost is $5/person. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-625-6473 during open nature center hours.
