Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Native Plant Gathering Registration Opens

The Oakland County Parks Native Plant Gathering is scheduled for Friday, June 5 from 4-7 p.m. at the Oakland County Farmers Market. This year, participants will receive a tray and can fill it by selecting plants of their choice from the assortment available. There is a $5 entry fee. Registration is encouraged to ensure there are enough trays and plants available. Online registration is now open. Registration the day of the event will also be available.
