Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Refresh and Renew Forest Therapy Walk

Enter into a deeper connection with the natural world

Nurture your well-being as you experience the physical and mental health benefits of forest bathing. During this series, participants will enjoy the benefits of forest therapy, a slow restorative walk in a natural setting that follows a standard sequence of elements.

The program is part of a series. Upcoming session include:

  • June 26, 7-9 p.m. – Summer Sunset Forest Therapy Walk at Rose Oaks County Park Nature Area
  • July 16, 10 a.m.-noon – Refresh and Renew Forest Therapy Walk at Highland Oaks County Park Nature Area
  • Aug. 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m. – Dusk to Dark Forest Therapy Walk at Oak Park Woods

  • Preregistration with payment required
  • Cost is $15/person/session
