Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Once in a Blue Moon

Reach for the stars in our new portable planetarium

Discover spring constellations and take a closer look at the moon in our new portable planetarium. Afterwards, go on a trail hike to enjoy the moon’s glow during this rare lunar event. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-585-0100 during nature center hours or register online.
