Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Get Your Start on a Home Native Garden

Building a native garden from the ground up

The flowers are back - let’s meet them on a gentle stroll during Get Your Start on a Home Native Garden from 10:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 30 at Wint Nature Center. Now that you know all about them, take home a free native plant to start your own wildflower garden! Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-625-6473 during nature center hours or register online.
