Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

World Migratory Bird Day

Every birdy is welcome to learn more about our feathered friends

Interested in birds, but finding it hard to become a bird watcher? Visit Red Oaks Nature Center from 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 9. Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with a naturalist as we flock together to search for our feathered friends. Bring your own binoculars (limited supply available to borrow). Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-585-0100 during nature center hours or register online.
