Oakland County Parks is focused on environmental leadership, action and practice in the community. Staff is available as a resource for local governments and the public to advise in their areas of expertise and assist homeowners, municipal employees, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in implementation of best practices.

Michigan "Shell-ebrities"

Did you know that turtles can breathe through their rear ends? Join us to learn more about how they survive in our state, the challenges they are facing, and what we can do to help one of Michigan's most threatened animal groups. Make your own turtle friend craft to take home. You may even meet a couple of these "living dinosaurs" while you're here. Cost is $7/person. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays.
