⚠ CITY OF PONTIAC: MANDATORY OUTDOOR WATER RESTRICTION IN PLACE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Avoid all outdoor nonessential water use including watering lawns, washing vehicles, or other activities. These restrictions are due to low water pressure from the Great Lakes Water Authority from a water pump station. Limiting outdoor water use will help keep water available for all area residents. About Water Resources
The office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner (WRC) is a countywide elected office currently held by Jim Nash. The office is made up of approximately 370 employees who are responsible for management of stormwater, drinking water, and wastewater services for residents throughout Oakland County. WRC performs operations and maintenance services for 22 local municipalities and numerous county and intercounty drains also including construction, asset management, environmental regulations, public education, water and sewer rate development, customer billing, and emergency services. The WRC is a regional leader in high-impact regional water service delivery projects.

About Facilities Management
The Facilities Management Department plans, designs, constructs, renovates, operates, maintains, repairs, and provides security for the facilities and grounds owned and maintained by the Oakland County General Fund. In addition, the Department prepares and administers all lease agreements. As well as assists departments in the sale or purchase of property, and is responsible for the preparation of the County’s five-year Capital Improvement Program. Other Programs & Services include:
