Customers initiating new construction projects must create an account and login to our Self-Service Portal. The portal can be used to apply for a new water or sewer extension, a drain permit, or a soil erosion permit. Customers can use the portal to submit plans for review, access permit requirements, and search for open permits.

Surety Bond Information

Contractors connecting or disconnecting to sanitary or combined sewers, interceptors and any county drain work must be bonded, and the following documentation must be on file:

• Current $5,000 surety bond
• Liability insurance naming our office as additional insured must be on file

The surety bond is valid for one year and can be renewed by the bonding agent. The original continuation certificate must be submitted at the time of renewal.
