About the Proposed Project

Our office is proposing a new, centralized building in the City of Pontiac to support its water, sewer, and drain operations and better serve our residents and communities across Oakland County.

The proposed building would bring together key functions currently spread across six locations, creating a more efficient workspace. It is designed to support current operations while allowing for future growth and expanded services.

This investment reflects our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality services, while planning responsibly for long-term needs.

Why a New Facility is Needed

Our water and sewer operations have grown significantly in recent years, expanding services to more communities and taking on new responsibilities. Several of our facilities are aging, undersized, and not centrally located, making it challenging to deliver services as efficiently as possible. As services expand and operational needs continue to grow, a new building will:

  • Improve coordination and efficiency across our organization
  • Support continued service expansion to additional municipalities
  • Provide space for future growth and evolving operational needs
  • Increase scope of services to address aging infrastructure
