8/4 11 A.M. ADVISORY LIFTED: Southeast Oakland Township Boil Water Advisory has ended. Thank you for your cooperation. Now that the advisory has ended, we recommend you take these steps in your home:
- Turn on your cold tap slowly and run the water to flush water pipes for five minutes.
- Empty your automatic ice maker completely and discard the ice made during the advisory period; then, run a few cycles of ice production.
- Throw the batches of ice away to fully flush the water line in the ice maker before using the ice again.

The NOCWA board meets regularly to coordinate water system usage to increase water pressure and decrease water costs.

The next regularly scheduled meeting for the Board will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, starting at 9 a.m. Meeting notice will be posted.
All dates are tentatively on the first Thursday of the month starting at 9 a.m. at the Water Resources Commissioner's office and/or virtually.
