Celebrate the 4th of July at the farmers market
Visit the Oakland County Farmers Market for fresh produce, local goods and artisan finds that are perfect for your picnic, beach outing or family cookout. You’ll discover lots of Independence Day festivities in a welcoming atmosphere filled with local flavors and summer vibes.
The farmers market will be open regular hours from 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on July 4. Free hot dogs will be available, while supplies last, from 9 a.m.-noon. Steaks & Cupcakes is donating the hot dogs and Red Wood Grill is on grilling duty.
Be sure to join the free yoga and tai chi classes, too! Yoga runs from 9:30-10:15 a.m. with tai chi following from 10:30-11:15 a.m. on the grassy area to the west of the market building, weather permitting. Free yoga mats are available for the first 10 participants. No registration is needed.
