Michigan Achievement Scholarship - Starting with the high school Class of 2023, students will be eligible for more financial aid from the State through the Michigan Achievement Scholarship.
Michigan Reconnect - Free community college tuition to earn an associate degree or Pell-eligible skill certificate for eligible adults aged 25 and older.
Michigan Association of State Universities programs - The 15 public universities in Michigan are committed to providing a quality education at an affordable price. Many universities now offer free tuition programs for some of our state’s students with the highest need.
Police Officer’s and Fire Fighter’s Survivor Tuition Grant (STG) - provides for the waiver of tuition at a Michigan community college or public university for the natural or adopted children and surviving spouses of Michigan police officers and fire fighters killed in the line of duty.
Children of Veterans Tuition Grant - provides undergraduate tuition assistance to students who are the natural or adopted child of a qualified Michigan veteran that has died or become totally and permanently disabled due to a service-connected illness or injury, or missing in action (MIA), as a result of military service.
Fostering Futures Scholarship (FFS) - provides scholarships to students who have experienced foster care in Michigan on or after age 13. Students must also demonstrate financial need to qualify.
Michigan Indian Tuition Waiver Program - waives the tuition costs for eligible Native Americans in public community colleges or universities within Michigan.
