Due to funding constraints, Oakland County Michigan Works! is realigning its centers this summer, which includes the closing of our Southfield facility, located at 21415 Civic Center Drive, on the campus of Lawrence Technological University, effective June 30, 2026.  

Our staff is committed to providing uninterrupted, best-in-class service to our Southfield customers, prior to a new center opening later this year in southern Oakland County.  

Southfield customers currently enrolled in workforce development programs will be transitioned to another Oakland County Michigan Works! location prior to July 1. 

New customers should contact one of our remaining five centers for service.
