Get ready for a ‘reel’ good time at the Fishing Derby from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, June 6 at Independence Oaks County Park. During this catch-and-release event, Anglers of all ages are invited to test their skills, reel in their best catch and enjoy a morning by the water.

Whether you’re a seasoned fisherman or trying it for the first time, this friendly competition offers prizes, outdoor fun and a lake experience like no other. Bring your gear and enthusiasm for a day of community, excitement and great catches!
