IMPORTANT:  DO NOT submit Praecipes through MiFILE.  Any Praecipe submitted via MiFILE will not be processed, and your motion will not be scheduled for hearing.

Filing Deadlines

Praecipes must be received by 4:30 p.m. on or before the Wednesday preceding the requested motion date.

E-Praecipes (eFiled Cases)

E-Praecipes are used to schedule motions for a Wednesday motion call and are required in all eFiled cases.

Non-eFiled Cases / eFiling Exemptions

For non-Efiled cases, or if you have been granted an exemption from eFiling, you may submit a Praecipe Form by:

• Delivering it to the Case Management Office; or
• Emailing it to cmo@oakgov.com

E-Praecipes are used to schedule a motions for Wednesday motion call.  E-Praecipes are mandatory on all eFiling cases; they are voluntary on all other cases.

E-Praecipe for Motion is an online application for filing a Praecipe.  This process will replace the paper document for eFiling cases.
