Attention!
Elimination of Juvenile Delinquency Fines, Fees, and Costs! As of October 1, 2024, Oakland County cannot charge most court fees for juvenile delinquency cases because of a new state law. In Juvenile cases, Oakland County no longer charges diversion fees, consent calendar service fees, late fees, attorney fees, community service fees, fines associated with violations of municipal ordinances or state or federal law (if another disposition has been ordered), costs of care or service fees, court appointed attorney fees, DNA fees, drug test fees, probation and supervision fees, and Youth Assistance fees. Prior to the state law change, Oakland County had already stopped collecting these fees. Families should not make payments for any of these fees, but your bill may include other fees that you are still responsible for (i.e. restitution, crime victims rights fees, fines associated with violations of municipal ordinances or state or federal law (if no other disposition has been ordered). If you have any questions about what you owe, please contact us at 248-858-1130 or email reimbfamily@oakgov.com.
Reimbursement is no longer collecting any Circuit Court criminal attorney fees.
