Melodies at the Museum: Dave Bennett

The Detroit Institute of Arts offers special group experiences for Tri-County seniors, including Melodies at the Museum—a lively monthly music program designed just for them, made possible by Tri-County millage support!

You are invited to join in the fun and experience these unique performances firsthand.

On Thursday, September 18 at 1:00 PM, our Melodies at the Museum performance features clarinetist Dave Bennett, blending modern influences with classic jazz from the Swing Era.

Oakland County groups attending this month’s performance include:

  • Christ Out Light Catholic Church Seniors – Troy
  • Oak Park Seniors – Oak Park
  • Royal Oak Seniors – Royal Oak
  • Southfield Public Library Seniors – Southfield

Groups begin arriving at 12:30 PM, and after the performance, attendees have time to explore the museum at their leisure and free bus transportation is available for groups of 25 or more.

See the flyer with details on upcoming Melodies at the Museum performances. Please feel free to share it with senior group leaders in your community. We appreciate your help in spreading the word and hope to see you at the DIA!
