TrailBlazers Hiking Series

Join Oakland County Parks staff for a scenic hike while discovering information about the parks and trails during the TrailBlazers Hiking Series. July's topic will be “Tree Talk.” Learn about the adaptations of different tree species as well as tips and tricks to identify common trees at Highland Oaks County Park.

The TrailBlazer Hiking Series runs through October and is a free program featuring 1-mile informational hikes. Each monthly session is held at a different park and features a new topic. It is a great way to get in steps. Walkers should dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and bug spray.

Preregistration is required. Call 248-858-0916 or scan the QR code on the TrailBlazers Hiking Series flyer to register.
