Oakland County Parks offers a variety of programming for active adults. Explore our parks, try a new activity, learn about Oakland County history and enjoy socializing with others in a welcoming, friendly environment. Adventures in the Park – Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

Enjoy an archaeological dig, mini golf, pedal boats, beach, basketball court and train rides as well as a 25’ tall rock-climbing tower, crafts, jumbo yard games and more. This is a free event. Oakland County is also providing free bus pickup from the OLHSA Offices, 196 Caesar E. Chavez Ave. in Pontiac and the Hazel Park Community Center, 620 W. Woodard Heights Blvd. in Hazel Park. Buses will return by 3 p.m. Preregister with Lisa Grodsky by calling 248-209-2721, texting 248-372-1915 or emailing Lisag@olhsa.org.
