Setting Education Goals
Oakland County is positioned to be a national leader in educational attainment, with exemplary K-12, higher education, economic development, business, and workforce development partners. Our partnership, Oakland80, sets a goal of 80 percent of our adults with a post-high school degree or credential by 2030. We must ensure post-high school students obtain the financial assistance available to them, students who start college finish with a degree, and industry-recognized credentials are widely available. Oakland80 features several state and regional training opportunities and resources to help support individuals reach their education and career goals.
