Rules for Visiting your Child

Visiting hours are Wednesday’s 6:30 p.m. and Sunday 3:30 p.m. You must show a picture ID, (driver’s license, State ID or passport).  Contact the child’s Case Coordinator before you come if you do not have ID

  • Only approved people can visit, such as parents, step-parents and legal guardians
  • Visitors need to be over 21 years of age
  • Babies and/or children are not allowed
  • No electronic devices of any kind including cell phones
  • No purses – briefcases
  • No drinks – food – snacks – candy – gum (except for Shelter Care – drinks must be unopened and in a sealed container)
  • No smoking
  • If you are suspected of being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, you will be asked to leave.
  • Hats and coats are not allowed in the visitation area
  • Do not talk to other residents while visiting your child
  • Visitor’s Dress Code:
    • No tube tops, bathing suites, see through clothes or low-cut tops
    • No short skirts – Short Shorts – Short Shirts
    • No Skirts/pants exposing your behind
    • No shirts exposing bare belly or bare back
    • No gang related, sexually explicit, drug, alcohol or foul language words, writing or pictures on clothes.
