The outdoor archery range opens on April 20, 2023.
Give archery a shot at Independence Oaks County Park! Archery is a great way to build strength and improve concentration. It boosts hand-eye coordination, enhances upper body strength and increases confidence.
No registration needed for open archery times from 4-7 p.m. Thursdays. Archery instructors will be on site. Participants are welcome to bring their own equipment or rent it for $5 at the range. 2023 Archery Class Information
Six-week beginner and intermediate archery instruction is offered for all ages/abilities.
- Session 1: Tuesdays, May 16-June 20
- Session 2: Tuesdays, June 27-Aug. 8 (no class on July 4)
- Session 3: Tuesdays, Aug. 15-Sept. 19
