4-H Capital Experience
An annual 4-day conference that focuses on youth involvement in civic engagement and public policy. Each spring teens from around Michigan converge on the state capital in Lansing to experience state government in action and learn how they can influence policy issues. Participants interact with legislators, state agency staff, lobbyists and other resource people to learn how policy is made.
4-H Exploration Days
An annual Michigan State University pre-college program held in June that attracts approximately 2,500 youth participants and chaperones from all 83 Michigan counties to the MSU campus. 4-H Exploration Days is a program of Michigan State University Extension 4-H Youth Development.
4-H Eco-Challenges (2010-2013)
Eco-Challenge is a hands-on, interactive 5-day science and technology camp for youth (ages 12-18) that have an interest in science, discovery, biology, nature, engineering, and fun. Each year a different theme is explored. 4-H Eco-Challenge Camps are held at Indian Springs Metro Park in White Lake.
Sue Stapleton's Retirement
