HeinOnline  [Also Available for Use in Library]
HeinOnline provides access to full-text content from law journals, U.S. Congressional documents, U.S. Federal legislative history, U.S. Supreme Court cases, the Federal Register, U.S. Attorney opinions, foreign treaties and other international agreements. HeinOnline is available on all PCs in the Library.

Westlaw     [Available for Use in Library]
Westlaw provides access to comprehensive, full-text content from state and federal case law, state and federal statutes, administrative codes, law journals, treatises, and legal forms. WestlawNext is available on selected PCs in the Library; please ask at the Information Desk.

Fastcase®    [Available for Use in Library]
Fastcase® sorts and analyzes users’ search results so that the most authoritative cases are at the “top of the list.” Fastcase® simultaneously reports how often those top cases were cited along with an interactive, visual mapping of the rankings. Full-text content covers primary law from all 50 states, as well as deep federal coverage from the 1880s to the present. Fastcase® is available on all PCs in the Library; please ask at the Information Desk.

Michigan Child Support Prognosticator   [Available for Use in Library]
Michigan Child Support Prognosticator allows individuals to calculate Michigan child support by considering all relevant factors--for example, the number of children, parents’ income, overnight visits, etc. MCS Prognosticator is available on selected PCs in the Law Library; please ask at the Information Desk.

LegalTrac    [Click on Database Name to Use]
LegalTrac provides access to abstract and selective full-text content from law reviews, legal newspapers, law specialty publications, bar association journals, and law-related articles from general interest publications. LegalTrac is available on all PCs in the Law Library.

Gale Legal Forms    [Click on Database Name to Use]

General business forms may be used in all 50 states and can be easily modified, as needed. General litigation forms cover many diverse causes of action, and may also be modified for your personal situation. State-specific forms are provided by participating attorneys, form companies, plus those adapted by a particular state. Federal forms comprise business and litigation forms applicable to the Federal courts system.


 

Genealogy Databases

 
HeritageQuest Online    [Click on Database Name to Use]
HeritageQuest is a database for genealogy and family history research. HeritageQuest includes U.S. Federal Census records (1790-1930), books on families and local histories, the Periodical Source Index (PERSI) of genealogy/local history publications, Revolutionary War Era military pension records, the Freedman’s Bank for African-American ancestor research, and more. HeritageQuest is available on all PCs in the Law Library.

Oakland County Historical Resources (OCHR)    [Click on Database Name to Use]
Oakland County Historical Resources is a free, county-wide database for local-area historical research. OCHR indexes materials pertaining to Oakland County, Michigan history: maps, newspapers, obituaries, photographs and postcards, tax records, and more. OCHR is available on all PCs in the Law Library.
