We are a walk-in clinic. No appointments are necessary. To ensure that a full array of services and testing options will be available to you, please arrive 30 minutes before close of business. There is a $7.00 Vaccine Administraion Fee per vaccine. For all other services, there is a $5 clinic visit fee per visit, per client. Payment method is cash and credit card. All fees are non-refundable. An additional fee is charged for credit card payments.

HIV/AIDS, The Health Division's HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Program provides confidential, anonymous counseling and testing, referral services, and education. Rapid HIV testing is available.

HIV Linkage to Care Program

Did you know about 50% of persons living with HIV receive regular care? We can connect you to HIV care.

Linkage to Care is a free, confidential service to help people living with HIV access medical care and support services. Health Division nursing staff can help people who are:

  • Newly diagnosed with HIV
  • Living with HIV who need support
  • Living with HIV and have fallen out of care

Living with HIV and new to the state of Michigan

HIV Prevention Medication:

Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP)

Sexually Transmitted Infections,
The Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Program provides:
  • Testing and diagnosis
  • Treatment
  • Counseling/teaching
for the following STIs: Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, NGU, Syphilis, and Trichomoniasis . HIV testing is available. All other suspected conditions will be referred to private providers.
Tuberculosis (TB),
Tuberculosis (TB) screening, treatment, and counseling services are provided. Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) offers two types of TB screenings: TB Skin Tests and TB Blood Tests. A Public Health Nurse will determine which type of screening is recommended for each client. 

TB Skin Test: $8.00*

A TB Skin Test requires two visits - administation of the test and a return visit 48-72 hours later to interpret the results. TB Skin Tests are done on the following days: 

  • Monday:   12:00 noon – 8:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday & Wednesday:  8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday:  No Testing
  • Friday:  2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
TB Blood Test: $56.00*
OCHD utilizes the T-Spot TB Blood Test (also called an Interferon Gamma Release Assay, IGRA). T-Spot testing is for Oakland County Residents only. Payment is due at the time of services. OCHD will supply clients with a receipt to submit to insurance as many may cover the costs of this test. TB Blood Tests are done on the following days: 
  • Monday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm 
  • Tuesday - Friday: 8:30am - 3:00pm

*For clients coming to the North Oakland Health Center, the blood test for tuberculosis screening must be done before 3pm Tuesday-Friday and before 5pm on Monday due to changes in our pick-up service.

*A $5 clinic visit fee is charged in addition to the service fee.
