Access to Care Workgroup

MISSION:

  • Ensure access to affordable, comprehensive, and quality health care services for all community members.

GOALS:

  1. Increase screening and referrals related to social needs and social determinants of health.
  2. Promote awareness of and referrals to health resources/services.
  3. Identify barriers to accessing health services.

PRIORITIES:

  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Helped plan for equitable vaccine distribution and made reccomendations to impact health disparities around COVID-19.
  • Emerging Issues: Explore emerging issues that impact access to care.
  • Social Determinants of Health: Identify ways to increase data collection around social determinants of health.
