2023 Meeting Schedule Coming Soon!

The Healthy Oakland Partnership (HOP) is hosting a Cottage Food Law Training on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Cottage Foods are specific types of foods that are made in an unlicensed kitchen within the State of Michigan. Not all food products can be sold as Cottage Foods, they must be non-potentially hazardous foods that do not require time and/or temperature controls for safety, among other guidelines.

Learn how to prepare and sell foods to the public under Michigan’s Cottage Food Law. This workshop combines education about the Michigan Cottage Food Law and the food safety aspects of preparing and selling cottage foods safely and successfully. For questions or to register, contact Robin at 248-215-6307 or Jessica at 248-563-7792.
