Events & Programs

Employee Market Day

Employee Market Day brings fresh, local produce to the on-campus Oakland County Farmers Market, giving staff an easy way to support healthy eating. Each employee receives a $5 coupon to spend on fruits and vegetables of their choice, making it simple and affordable to bring home something fresh. Employees are able to enjoy seasonal selections, meet local growers, and make healthy eating part of their day!

Health & Well-Being Fair

Our Annual Health & Well-Being Fair is OakFit’s largest event of the year, bringing together a wide range of vendors, wellness partners, and county resources for a one-stop experience. Held each fall, the fair gives employees the chance to explore programs, meet experts, and learn about upcoming benefits for the new year. It’s an engaging and informative event designed to help employees make confident, informed choices about their health and well-being.

Virtual 5K Training Program

Our fall Virtual 5K Training program helps employees build confidence and endurance at their own pace, whether they’re new to running or getting back into a routine. Participants receive weekly guidance and training tips designed to gradually prepare them for a 5K. With flexible, self-paced workouts and virtual support throughout the program, it’s an accessible way to stay motivated and reach your fitness goals!
