All parties are required to e-file for all Civil/Landlord tenant matters via mifile.courts.michigan.gov.

You will need a MiFILE account to submit forms to the court. To get started, visit the MiFILE website and click "Sign Up" in the upper right corner. Creating an account is free. If you need additional help or support, please email mifilesupport@courts.mi.gov.

Hearings and Appearances

Hearings are heard either in person or via remote technology, based upon the type of hearing scheduled. If your hearing is in-person, please follow the Court Access link for more information. If you have further questions as to what format a case is proceeding, how to attend, or to request an in person hearing, please contact the court.

52-2 District Court will accept attorney appearances by fax at 248-625-5602 or email. For criminal or traffic appearances email: 522criminaltraffic@oakgov.com. For civil appearances use MIFile. All other pleadings must be mailed or delivered to 5850 Lorac Drive, Clarkston, MI 48346. Emergency requests to file a pleading using fax or email should be addressed to the assigned judge's chambers.
