Do you know a group of 5-10 people who would love to spend time outdoors? We want you to join us at the 13th Annual Fire & Ice Festival in Downtown Rochester (across from the Fire Station). This 3 day event features outdoor activities such as tube sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sled rides, ice skating, a broom ball exhibition, ice sculptures and more.

January 17, 18 & 19

Volunteers work in 3.25 hour shifts to assist event guests at stations such as the tubing hill, dog sledding, cross country skiing/snowshoes, ice skating (bring your own skates), and parking. No previous experience is necessary and this event is great for groups! We are looking for 25 volunteers per shift as follows:

Friday evening: 5 - 8:30pm (3.5 hours)

Saturday (3 shifts remain open): 12:15pm - 3:30pm; 3:00pm - 6:15pm or 5:45pm - 9:00pm.
Sunday (2 shifts): 10:30am - 1:45pm or 1:15pm - 4:30pm

Bring your friends and meet new people! Dress for the outdoors, you will want to check out the TasteTent, ice sculptures and stick around for fireworks Friday and Saturday. We recommend you plan for the weather (boots, coats, snowpants, hats, gloves, rain gear, etc.)

Please sign up in advance by completing the volunteer application on our website.
