Oakland Together Cultural Institution COVID-19 Support Grant

The Oakland Together Cultural Institution COVID-19 Support grant program allows Oakland County to award grants of up to $50,000 to arts, cultural and stewardship organizations.

Oakland County supports and values cultural institutions as valuable partners and assets for the residents of Oakland County. The availability of cultural content contributes to the mental health and well-being of Oakland County residents. They play an essential role in the maintenance, conservation, stewardship, revitalization, interpretation and documentation of heritage. These organizations provide cultural understanding, intercultural dialogue and cultural diversity, and facilitates the transmission of culture across generations.

Our goal is that each Oakland Together COVID-19 Support grant provides a surge of resources to help Oakland County arts, cultural and stewardship organizations emerge from this difficult time so that jobs will be retained, and services and programming will be provided to Oakland County residents. This application process is designed to identify institutions that have been injured by the COVID-19 pandemic.
