52-2 District Court will accept appearances only by fax at 248-625-5602 or email to 522criminaltraffic@oakgov.com. All other pleadings must be mailed or delivered to 5850 Lorac Drive, Clarkston MI 48346. Emergency requests to file a pleading using fax or email should be addressed to the assigned judge’s chambers

The Criminal Division of the 52-2 District Court processes felony and misdemeanor cases. For felony cases, the district court is responsible for the arraignment of the defendant as well as the preliminary examination. For misdemeanors cases, the district court retains jurisdiction of the case from start to finish.
