 Court Closings

The 50th District Court is temporarily closed to the general public except for essential functions relating to health and safety, while safeguarding rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

Due to the current public health crisis, as well as for the safety and well-being of court employees and court users, the courthouse doors are closed to the general public until further notice.  However, the court continues to conduct court operations and remains open for business.  The court's emergency operations plan addresses how the court will conduct proceedings with most court hearings proceeding via remote technology.

If you have specific questions pertaining to whether a case is proceeding and how to attend, please contact your attorney or call the court at numbers provided in our emergency operations plan
