Elizabeth Arbus has served as a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court since September of 2004. Previously, she was a Community Corrections Specialist II for Oakland County's Community Corrections Division. Elizabeth interned with 52/4 District Court in 1998 and was a volunteer Probation Officer for the City of Troy for 4 years. In addition, she conducted pre-sentence investigations and alcohol assessments for the 50th District Court as a contract employee. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Development, specializing in Human Services in 1998 at Oakland University. She is also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). This certification is reciprocal with other IC&RC member boards. The IC&RC's membership currently includes more than 62 boards in the United States, Indian Health Services, U. S. Military, U. S. Federal Court Administrators and many foreign countries including Canada, Sweden, Bermuda, Germany, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
DeAnne Bukari, Chief Probation Officer
DeAnne Bukari has served as a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court for over 25 years. She attended Oakland University where she earned a Master's Degree in Guidance & Counseling. She is a member of national drug court associations and Michigan professional organizations. Her specialized State of Michigan licenses include Master Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor. In 2005, she became the intensive probation officer serving in the 52/3 Sobriety Court program. She supervises three probation investigators, seven probation officers and three university interns. In 2009, she was asked to join the Oakland University Social Work Advisory Board.
Beth Cristobal has served as a Probation Officer since May 2000. Prior to May 2000, Ms. Cristobal worked as a Pretrial Services Investigator assigned to this court and has previous social work experience at other organizations within the community. Beth Cristobal earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University. She belongs to professional organizations at the national and state level. Ms. Cristobal is also a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor and Certified Criminal Justice Professional from the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals. In addition, Beth serves as an intensive probation officer for the 52/3 District Court Sobriety Court Program
Elizabeth Dennis has been employed with the 52/3 District Court since 2013. She has worked as a probation investigator in the probation department. In April 2014, she became a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court. She is a graduate of Oakland University earning a Bachelor of Social Work and a graduate of Wayne State University earning a Master of Social Work. She belongs to professional organizations at the national and state level.
Shannon Maternowski has been employed with the 52/3 District Court since 2015. She completed her internship at the 52/3 District Court during the summer of 2014 and went on to complete an emergency salary Probation Officer position at the 52/1 District Court in Novi. She then completed an emergency salary Probation Officer position at the 52/2 District Court in Clarkston before being hired as a part-time Probation Investigator. She graduated from Oakland University in December, 2014, with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice, a specialization in Corrections and Treatment, and a concentration in Addiction Studies. In July, 2015, she returned to the 52/3 District Court as a part-time Probation Investigator. She was employed as a part-time probation officer at the 44th District Court in Royal Oak for a short period of time, before being hired as a full-time Probation Officer at the 52/3 District Court in October 2016.
Shelly McLeod has been employed with the 52nd District Courts since 1990, serving the public as a law clerk, criminal clerk, civil clerk and traffic supervisor. In March 2008, she became a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court. Additionally, she worked at Community Corrections as a specialist. She is a graduate of Oakland University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She is working toward her Master's degree in Public Administration and FAODP.
Danielle Monnier has been employed with the 52nd District Courts since 2004. She started off at the Troy District Court and after 4 years, moved on to the Clarkston District Court for 6 years. Danielle has been employed with the 52/3 District Court since 2013. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Central Michigan University. Danielle also has a Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling from Oakland University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the State of Michigan.
Olivia Temrowski began her employment with the 52/3 District Court in the Fall of 2016. She is a graduate of Oakland University earning a Bachelor of Social Work where she served one year in the 52/3 Probation Department as a student intern. She has since earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, where her area of focus was in both community social systems as well as interpersonal practice. Her previous employment encompasses both of these areas. She currently serves as an intensive Probation Officer for the 52/3 District Court Specialty Treatment Court Program.
Sheri Zelek has served as a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court since 1995. Prior to this, she completed an internship through the Walled Lake Court in 1993. She has also worked for the 46th District Court in Southfield, and 52/1 District Court in Novi. Sheri earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and graduated cum laude from Oakland University. She is certified in Michigan as an Addictions Counselor.
