These three day inpatient
weekends may be a recommendation for any substance related charge and may focus on the impact of alcohol or marijuana use. This is often
recommended on first alcohol related driving offenses with a high blood alcohol
level. This program is also recommended for repeat offenders and often precedes
outpatient counseling in the community. The goal of the program is to provide a
more intense format for presentation of the information concerning drugs and
alcohol and an explanation of the available treatment options.
