District Court Administrator/Clerk of Court​:​


The Office of Court Administrator falls under the general direction of the District Court Judges and reports to the Chief Judge. The Court services seven communities, and has four separate Funding Units. The Court Administrator supervises all non-judicial functions of the Court; including but not limited to: civil, criminal, and traffic matters; information management systems, court security, human resources, budget planning and implementation, probation services, facilities management, and training and development of Court personnel. This position will participate in the development and implementation of operating policies, procedures and practices for the Court, along with monitoring compliance with SCAO requirements.


Education: Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and/or a postgraduate degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or related field or Juris Doctor Degree.
Experience:  Five years of progressively more responsible experience in a District Court or closely related setting, one of which must have been in a supervisory capacity in a court or related setting.
