The Environmental Health Services Unit protects shelter environments through regulatory inspections of child care and adult foster care facilities, including plan review for new and remodeled child care facilities and education for county residents and home owners.

We also respond to complaints and follow through with a resolution or referral to other state or local agencies having jurisdiction.

Child/Adult Care Facility Inspection Fees

• Partial Inspection: $125
• Full Inspection: $213
• Plan Review (includes Opening Inspection): $300

All credit and debit card transactions will now include a 3.5% transaction fee and electronic checks will include a $2.50 charge per order.
