Energizing Connections for Healthier Oakland (ECHO), convened by Oakland County Health Division, identifies health priorities and mobilizes partnerships to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequities in Oakland County. It is overseen by an Advisory Council with representatives from hospitals, human services, behavioral health, higher education, businesses, parks and recreation, economic development, emergency response, community organizations, and elected officials.

About the Community Health Assessment and Improvement Plan

The ECHO Advisory Council oversees and guides OCHD’s Community Health Assessment (CHA) every five (5) years. The assessment and its processes inform the community’s needs and strengths, in this case Oakland County. The most recent assessment was completed in 2025.
