Rev. Douglas P. Jones

Rev. Douglas Paul Jones was called to Welcome Missionary Baptist Church in Pontiac, Michigan, on April 8, 1989 and was installed as Pastor on June 18, 1989. Pastor Jones received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Psychology from the University of Cincinnati and his Bachelor of Theology from Cincinnati Bible College, Pastoral Care Administration.

Pastor Jones works diligently within Pontiac as:

• Chairman of the Committee of Fifty
• Founder of Greater Pontiac Community Coalition
• Member of Comerica Community and Diversity Board
• Sheriff Relief SRT Board
• Pontiac Mayor's Business Council

He is also a Chaplain with the Oakland County Sheriff's Department.
